Re: Heat wave

There is a larger than usual green metal cabinet on my street, most likely VM as we have a lot of subscribers here, walking past it last summer there were some very audible fans running in there. They seem to be doing their job though as I have been a customer for a year now without any major broadband issues other than during 2 separate planned maintenance days. My ping has always been a bit closer to 20 than I'd like but there is a lot more coax in my installation than usual as I live in an annex set further back from the road than the houses.

Re: Heat wave

With just about the whole country in 30's over Friday or Saturday, can any actually say it caused problems?.  None here!.

by "whole country" i assume you mean the south of england? Smiley Indifferent

we had problems here yesterday but that was down to the thunder/electrical storms we had. the temperature was nowhere near 30 though (and never was during the past few days).

Re: Heat wave

You can call me biased but in London temperatures in the past few days have hit the 30s.

But my connection to the Hayes hub site is still good. Smiley LOL
