I'm having the same, I've raised a call with Virgin Media, they've raised a ticket with IT and it's a 5 day response from IT, not impressed as I want to watch the match live. I've give them some feedback as there is no option when you call them or via chat to report a problem with Virgin TV Go app or watching through their website.
Long shot, but did they give you a ticket reference by any chance? Please don't post it on here, I'm just idly curious.
