Virgin Media is blocking our website

I have emailed websafe repeatedly, no response.  They are still blocking our site after a month. https://massoncaving.com/.

Our site has no viruses, we collect no data, we sell nothing, ask for no money or post no adult content or anything remotely offensive. We are just a voluntary sports group.

Only Virgin are blocking us- all other web providers deem us safe and secure.

Why do you continue to block our site???

Re: Virgin Media is blocking our website

Not sure which service(s) Virgin Media use to block websites but its accuracy seems correct given VirusTotal's report for https://massoncaving.com, see below or read here:

After revalidating the security of your website consider submitting false positive reports to a couple of the security vendors listed by VirusTotal, for example to Bitdefender; as security vendors share data a false positive correction is likely to filter through to others. Should the problem persist then post back here to have to the issue flagged to the forum moderators.

As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

Re: Virgin Media is blocking our website

there is though nothing wrong with our website which is why the other 50+ did not detect anything and I have submitted false positives to most of the sites that as we surmise just feed off each others reports so don't actually look at the site that was completely wiped and restarted clean a month ago

Hello fellow darkness dwellers (I'm not in a cave, but it is cold, dark and damp where I am).

Your site is working fine here:

I think there was something going on with word press a bit ago which now seems to have been resolved.

Re: Virgin Media is blocking our website

I tried it 2 hours ago from a Virginmedia user's house, it was blocked. The only way to access the site there was via mobile data.

Did you attempt to access it via internet provided by Virginmedia?

Re: Virgin Media is blocking our website

AFAICS Web Safe (specifically its Virus Safe component) is still blocking the website.

it is unfair and too simplistic to assume security vendors are just feeding of each other reports.

If you look at the VirusTotal report you will see your website was last scanned a few minutes ago and the results shown are those produced by the scan engines listed; note that Dr Web is no longer detecting your website as malicious.

I have flagged your post to the forum team to see if they are able to detail why Virus Safe is being triggered by your website; be aware it may take them a few hours / days to work through to your post.
