XGS-PON - 2Gbps trial?

Had my new service installed today. Nice new XGS-PON full fibre with the new 5X hub. Really quick install - up and running in no time. 

I’ve seen some reports of tests/trials of a 2000 down, 200 up speed package. Is there an application process to try out this package or are people in the correct areas just randomly selected?  The increased upload is really tempting.

I expect it’s only in one area and VM trials like this are usually by invite only.

im on 2000/200, I was orignally on the trial and it got extended with the upgrade to 2000/200, where are you? @pob42
