Re: Where will 500 Mbps roll out first?

If the phone line is VOIP then why are they still charging £19 for the line rental?

Re: Where will 500 Mbps roll out first?

I don't know - I haven't been told that - I will see the breakdown - but I was just given a statement saying the speed range and that if it's lower at any point I can leave without penalty - that's got me concerned but we will see

Re: Where will 500 Mbps roll out first?

I really dont need the sim card thats offered. Infact my wife took a VM sim card and had to cancel it on the first day due to there being zero reception in our home. They dont offer wifi calling either.

Anyone on the old vip package had any luck getting put on 500 without taking the sim?

Because they can get away with it.

500Mb roll-out will probably start early in 2020.

Meanwhile, today, I have had an upstream upgrade. I now get 36Mb.    [IMG]https://www.speedtest.net/result/8221430331.png[/IM...]

Here's my new config.

Primary Upstream Service Flow

SFID1553
Max Traffic Rate38500063
Max Traffic Burst42600
Min Traffic Rate0
Max Concatenated Burst42600
Scheduling TypeBestEffort

My config is exactly the same however I'm still only seeing 20 UP not 36 on all speed tests.

I wonder if it's because I am still to this day on 16qam

Re: Where will 500 Mbps roll out first?

why do you have to wait until next week? I'd have thought the new speed could be applied instantly?
