Speed Fluctuating

Hello,

Can someone from Virgin Media please look at me Connection

Download and Upload speeds have been fluctuating badly in the last week or so via RJ45 1GB.

Having to keep restarting the Router all the time Is there any work going on in the Area?

The Upload also seems to be stuck on 20mbps or below.

What speeds do you get at >>  SamKnows << with a direct connection using a Cat 5E or better ethernet cable between the Hub in Router Mode and a 1Gbs capable Pc/Mac/Chromebook and no other devices connected ?

Then immediately after …

Can you Login to the Hub Settings and navigate to the Connected Devices page - what is the reported 'connection speed’ for the ethernet cable connected device you used for the speed test ?

This was a bit confusing in your initial post ...

At first I thought you were on the 1Gbs service but your Configuration data shows that you are on the 500Mbs service and the Hub data is for a Hub 3 not a Hub 4.

Firstly i put "RJ45 1GB" that would tell anyone who is even tech savy that i was saying hardwired and connected at 1GB rather than 10/100. This is why i have asked Virgin to look at my Connection.

Yes you are correct 500/35 connection.
