NE5 very poor internet speed

dear sir or madam

    my internet speed has gone down to 90mb while i pay for a 350mb connection its been like this since saturday, I think its about time that virgin media started to refund customers who are having problems with there internet speed, what i call this is taking monies by deception ie fraud, I wont go through hoops for yous, thats your job not mine get my internet sorted out or ill want a refund simple as that

Check with Area faults on 0800 561 0061 If you have a VM landline 150 this goes down to post code level. You could also try the web page status, but this is not recommended.

Hi geordiemark, thanks for posting and welcome back to our community.

Sorry to hear you're receiving slower than your advertised speeds.  Please can you confirm if this is both the same for wired and wireless connections?  Have you checked for any issues in your area, here?  For future reference, you may wish to try a pin reset of your hub as per here. It essentially takes your hub back to factory settings but clears most issues.  I'd only attempt this, if you can still access your original WiFi password.  However, as you've reached out to us, I would like to take a closer look on your behalf. I am going to send you a private message. Please look out for the purple envelope in the top right of your screen.
