Re: M500 Upgrade is a disaster - Slower speed than M200

Hmmm, thanks for checking.  I might try to factory reset the Hub3 to see if that helps.

Re: M500 Upgrade is a disaster - Slower speed than M200

Just done a factory reset on the Hub3 and the speeds have jumped up - Not where they should be as guaranteed minimum is 258 Mbps:

Going to repost the stats since the reboot

Re: M500 Upgrade is a disaster - Slower speed than M200

I'm unimpressed by the downstream power levels.  VM are cagey about what's permissible, and as low as -6 dBmV has been semi-formally muttered, but I often observe problems at the -5 level, added to which power levels run from -1.7 to -5.4 which is a bit on the rangey side for my liking.

Hang on and see what the forum staff advise - if they can't offer a solution then you'll need to read and invoke the VM minimum speed guarantee, which broadly speaking involves you running tests until you can show a minimum speed below the relevant threshold at least once on three consecutive days.

Cheers Andrew, I'll be running them quite often to check.

I've added more stats now (got timed out for forum spam :D)

Re: M500 Upgrade is a disaster - Slower speed than M200

Just spoke to the tech team and they've done a remote connection to the Hub3, pushed a software change and I've seen a speed increase to 348mbps on wifi direct through the VM wifi channel

Hub3 is in Modem & Router mode, R8000 is in Access Point mode and I'm leaving it like that for 3 days whilst they monitor the HUb3 box.  If it doesn't improve/gets worse, there is the offer of a new box on the table.

I'll post the stats of the box for records now as well.
