Low, fluctuating upload speeds

Hi there,

I'm on M100, so I would expect around 5Mbps upload speeds.

I do currently get around 1-1.6Mbps during the day, which means that it's basically impossible to work from home. Down speeds are slower than expecting (as low as 10Mbps), but that matters less to me.

I observe this over wifi and on wired (cat6) to my Hub 3.0.

I have restarted it, waited 20 mins, and then even factory reset it, to no avail. I'm in area 15 for what it's worth, but the service status says no known issues.

My setup hasn't changed in months, and the upload speed got significantly worse over the past week.

Your upstream power levels are all too high, almost certainly the cause of the low speeds. The only thing you can try is making sure all the coax/cable connections in the hub and wall plate are tight, but most likely you're going to need an engineer visit. Hopefully someone from VM will pick this up.

I'm checking again this morning, and I get 99 down / 7.5 up, which is great.

This makes me think that my setup is OK, but I am being throttled during the week. Could it be?
