Has my speed increased? 450/30

Ok done some speed tests on Xbox one and windows laptop and gave me results of 450Mb down and 30Mb up. Also looked at hub status results are: Max traffic rate 402500089 and 38500089.

More pics on my dropbox as it wont let me upload the second picture

Re: Has my speed increased? 450/30

Your upload has increased to 38.5Mb but downstream is still set at 402Mb.

Some speed tests wrongly give higher results, but it can't actually go higher than 402Mb as that is the current maximum rate.

Re: Has my speed increased? 450/30

Everyone on the VM350 service Upload speed went up to 35Mbps from 20Mbps once they did a router reboot.

Way to go VM.

Running on 350Mb VM service with SH3 in Modem Mode, with a ASUS RT-AC5300 router. With this setup I get Fantastic WIRED and WIRELESS Signals in my home. I dont work for VM. But I work in IT, and I know my tech.
My advice is at your own risk.

Re: Has my speed increased? 450/30

That’s news to me and I’m sure everyone else. I’ve always thought why don’t vm do speeds of: 50/5 100/10 200/20 350/35 Would make sense 🤔 Don’t know if the other 3 speeds have changed.

Re: Has my speed increased? 450/30

The 35Mbps is the first phase of the planned 500Mbps service launching 29th April (don't quote me on that).

People on the VIP Bundle get put straight on the 500Mbps service.

Nothing to do with size of town or city and you're probably fed from a larger place anyway.
