Connect App Saying Low Speed Is “Great”

Hi, I’ve recently got the VM Connect app and ran a test in each room. Living Room (where router is located) has a speed of around 500mbps upload. Other rooms all have a speed of around 200mbps, except one room which has around 10mbps. I’m confused tho because i read on virgin website that anything under 20mbps is slow, however the app tells me these low speeds are “great”. Is this correct? The room in question is very bad for wifi signal so the results were expected. I’m just surprised the app considers these speeds “great”??

Hia, can you share how this was resolved as I have the app saying that 22 download is great, and trust me it isn't. I have two rooms where I need the WiFi, only a hallway away from the router that have awful download speed.

Hi @Tegan78 thanks for your post here in the Community, although we're sorry to hear of your concerns raised here.

We appreciate that WiFi speeds may be an issue here but there aren't any issues on the line at the moment - in order to rule out anything more serious here, can you please run a speed test when connected via ethernet cable and let us know how you get on with this?

Hi Tom, excellent speed via cable, and excellent WiFi the full 500 in the room next to the router. It's when it goes downhill rapidly when everywhere else.
