it’s wired direct to Asus router SH3 in modem only mode 

device is a gaming pc 

speedtest. net on a VM server only shows 200mbps 

will test again tomoz

Leave the Hub in modem mode pull out the Asus and connect a computer/laptop (check drivers are up t date) directly to the Hub by a good Cat5e or better cable. test at speedtest.net to your nearest VM server

Hub reset from pin hole on rear and back in router mode and only getting 209.37 D but the 36 UP

Do it in modem mode then as I asked - if still low - boot the pc into safe + networking mode and try a different browser too. See what that gets

update 

I feel bit of a numpty 

Spoke to CS and while I was using the genuine Speedtest app for win 10 saying I was barely getting around the 200mbps 

Was advised by support to use the website which gave me 380mbps 

Dunno why the app on the pc is saying the line is so much less
