600mbps service maxing out at 45mbps for last few days

WhiteHartMart
On our wavelength

As the title really - for the past few days (maybe a week) the maximum I can get on my connection (wired or wireless) seems to be around 45mbps - sometimes a lot lower.  Before the last few days, I could often get 500mbps plus?

Are there any issues in the area? I've tried resetting things with no improvement.

Thanks.

Hub stats look fine..

Are there any issues noted on 0800 561 0061?

Hub 3 - Modem Mode - TP-Link Archer C7

Seems my Hub suddenly has taken a dislike to modem mode.

Have gone back to router mode and speeds are fine (at least in one room of the house!). As soon as I put things back to modem mode, my speed gets capped at 45mbps again no matter how many times I reset?

Hi WhiteHartMart

Sorry to hear about this

Would you like me to take a look as it may be the Hub that is faulty

Can I just ask when in modem mode, are you connecting a 3rd party device

Gareth_L

Thanks but all sorted now - the Hub 3 needed another restart or two and now its seems to have resolved the problem and I'm backing getting the expected speeds via my 3rd party router.

Glad to hear this @WhiteHartMart.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further help.

Thanks,
