after the storm last night my 1gb broadband is now only 100mb download, I unplugged the Virgin hub and my own router but no change.
tested using a PC wired to the network, so not wireless.
hopefully it’s area wide and will get sorted soon,
I can’t do any further checks right now as off out soon.

Please ignore, I sorted it now, one of my network switches needed a restart.
