1 gig speed issue

Hi I've recently upgraded to the 1 gig package and to say I'm unhappy is a understatement my brothers xbox has gone from speeds of 300mb on are previous m350 package to 28mb, I get bearly 200mb in my room if I'm lucky how can this be?

Did you get a different Hub as part of the upgrade? What Hub have you got now - what was it previously ?


I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks for the message and sorry to hear that you are having issues with the connection, I have done a speed test and you are getting the 1GB connection. 

Can you do another test to see if anything has changed? 


Virgin keep telling me this but the engineer has came out today and said there is a massive problem as I'm getting 28mbs and he confirmed this for me, and that there is a fault somewhere and is being looked into, obviously the app that says everything looks great is wrong
