1.1Ghz speed?

Hi,

I was looking around on my Router Settings (192.168.0.1) and I saw that my internet can go up to a speed of 1.1Ghz, on the 5Ghz network. Is it possible to do this? I checked the box for the speed and then I ran a speedtest through my computer (wired over ethernet), but it still stays around 100-110mb speed. How do I boost this?

My router is a Virgin Media Super Hub 2ac.

Re: 1.1Ghz speed?

Hello

The speed you get on the wireless will be also dependent on your broadband speed so if you are on a 100mb service that is all that will show on the speedtest.

Re: 1.1Ghz speed?

“1.1Ghz” isn’t a speed.

Your internet will go as fast as you’re paying for.
