Phishing Email

I've received what looks fairly much like a genuine email from VM, but which on closer inspection is reasonably clearly a phishing email.

The heading reads: "We are unable to process your last bill."

It then continues, after addressing itself to my email address, not my name:

"We are experiencing some difficulty with the security of your account. Occasionally this happen as a result of unsaved changes or session timeouts, while this issue remains you will not have complete control of your account.

"To fix the underlying issue, just [ Link removed due to spam] to access your online service.

"If you ever get stuck with your Virgin Media, you'll find lots of great help [Link removed due to spam]

"Thank You.

The Virgin Media team

P.S. We don't pick up emails from this mailbox, so please don't reply to this email address. If you'd like to get in touch, you'll find all the details at [Link removed due to spam] instead."

Hovering the cursor over the links makes it fairly clear that this is not genuine.

Be warned.

It is worth noting for future reference that the Internet security team regularly post in this forum warning of such phishing attempts.

The one referenced in this thread was the subject of their latest alert earlier today.
