My internet connection on super hub 3 is working OK , but when my son comes to work from here he cannot connect his laptop with Microsoft Teams. he can connect to the internet but the Teams dos not connect. I have tried disabling the Hubs Firewall but that didn't work also I connected to the hub with a cable and still no good.
Does the Super Hub 4 have the same problem I don't think this is a signal problem as he is sat next to the router.

After all the help from other members,I found the cause was in my Virgin account settings,in-the security settings I unchecked “chat & social media” and Teams worked ok.
Thank for the help anyway and hope this helps other people.
This by the way after I changed my hub3 to modem mode and bought another router but hey ho the other router gives a better signal so all is not wasted.

Perhaps his work is not allowing your IP address through their firewall to Teams. Don’t forget when at your house his IP address will be different to when he is at home.

Hi Thanks for that
When he works from his home he is on BT with no special setup, is it possible to copy his home IP into my router or alter his IP outgoing.

If he has the 'Paid for' version of Teams he could try making a TEST call .

Thanks for reaching out to us @dorrpark22 on the Virgin Media forums.
To access the hub manager and the specific page.
Please enter 192.168.0.1 on the top of your URL box on a web page.
Enter in the "Settings Password" - not the Wi-Fi password, but the "Settings Password."
It will then ask you to change the password as a first time user and as a security measure.
Once changed, the hub will reboot and please sign in to the hub manager again with the numbers in the URL bar, and then the new password, then you will be able to update the settings on the online security page.
Let us know how you get along.
Kind regards,
Ilyas.
