No virgin media wall socket

I've just moved into a property and I'm trying to set up my Virgin Fibre broadband. I'm at the stage where I need to plug the isolator cable into the Virgin Media wall socket. However, I do not have any of the specified wall sockets available. I was told when purchasing the broadband package that fibre was available here and already in use, so am wondering if I'm missing something. I can only find the TV socket. Please help. Thanks.

QuickStart self-serve installs are offered where there's previously been VM service, and so there's an assumption the co-ax connections are already inplace.

Perhaps post up some photos of the connections you do have, and others can take a look. If all else fails and the co-ax points genuinely aren't fitted, then you'll need a manned engineer install.

You can book this either by calling in on the usual number (0345 4541111 or 0800 9521734 for installs), or by waiting here for a staff response

Neither are for VM, it should be a screw threaded F socket. You could try tracing the cable from the outside box, but it looks like you will need to call the 0800 number.

We’ve exactly the same problem: no virgin media wall socket, but only the very old TV socket. Can you arrange an engineer to help me out on this step?
