We recently moved into a new rented property having pre set up our virgin media Quickstart package beforehand only to move in and find that nowhere in the property is there any wall socket for our wifi.
There is a brown box on the outside or the property label 'Virgin Media' which seems in good condition leading into the property, but clearly the landlord has blocked in the wires and having searched everywhere in the house we cannot find them or the correct socket anywhere.
We have tried phoning Virgin on various numbers several times a day for the past week and each time we are redirected through voice automated questions until eventually told that the call centres are closed and that the line disconnects. There is nowhere on the website that allows you to book an engineer and Virgin seem to be impossible to get hold of. We are desperate for wifi and are paying for virgin without being able to access their services!
Does anybody have any suggestions as to how we can get hold or virgin to resolve our problem and get an engineer ASAP!!
