We recently received our new router and TiVo box and it’s a become apparent when reading through the instructions that the (white) wall socket is missing from our box meaning we can’t install anything. Bit confused as how to proceed now do we await another package or does someone from virgin come and fit this?
thats old but it may well work - you should have a cable with the hub - connect one end of the cable to the screw connector - your cable may be screw or push fit - either way connect it - then the other end of the cable to the hub - power up the hub - sure you have a power socket near by and ring the activation line - number should be with the hub
if all goes well hub will activate - it may take a while for it to go online as it will update as soon as its activated
if the base light goes white after a while you are up and running - if it is flashing green you have a problem and need to book a tech
how long is a while is a good question - 30 min to an hour should be more than enough
Cheers for the reply Tony stayed white for a few minutes then gone to flashing green 👎👎 not sure we will be keeping this disappointed we’ve got to call somebody out now and the amount and length of wires supplied is all a bit limiting
