Watching TV tonight and the red constant light caught my eye.
Done the usual reset, reboot etc and still red light remains on.
Suggests a hardware problem? Internet and TV working fine and no complaints from the kids who would be first to tell me! The unit doesn't feel overly warmer than usual and it hasn't been oved for years.
Ideas or help please?
Thank you.

If the Hub stills shows a red LED after a pinhole reset as below,.VM will swap the Hub as it is a fire risk. The red LED being an overheat warning as should bw working correctly.
Phone in or wait here a day or two for a VM Mod to arrange;
Try a 60 second factory pinhole reset as below;
Remove any ethernet cables from the Hub and hold the pinhole reset switch for 60 seconds. Do NOT reboot the Hub, just let it do it's thing. Note you will need the passwords from the bottom of the Hub afterwards, so make sure they are legible.
