Hi. I have just ordered virgin media tv & broadband to take over my sky that comes out on contract on the 12/02/23 … 

my delivery day for QuickStart boxes is 03/02/23 .. 

will my contract start from that date or am I able to connect on the 12/02/23 when my current contract ends?

Hi @MissSwanson92 

You should really connect the VM equipment when you receive and make sure everything is working.

Better to do that and pay both providers for 9 days than leave it until the 12th and find the VM connection doesn't work.

You have a 14 day cooling off period if you aren't happy with the connection, it also affords  you time to receive help to make the connection better if needed.

Hey, that makes sense I shall do that Thankyou. 

Also I haven’t received the confirmation email but have received the pre contract documents which I had to confirm to then be told they have my order. 

I don’t suppose you know how long that takes to come through? As I have no account number so can’t access the my Virgin section.
