2 weeks delivery?

Hi all,

I am already a virgin media customer (M500) and was offered an amazing upgrade price (+activation charge) to 1gig so decided to go for it.

When first ordering the M500 it took around 4 days for the service to be activated and kit to arrive, after going through the upgrade process for 1gig I have been advised it will take 2 weeks fror the upgrade to activate and kit to arrive.

Is there any way this can be sped up at all?

I understand that there is a shortage of Hub 4s which might explain this delay.

I know it's nice to have the latest, fastest tech. But there's really no need to be anxious about getting the 1g connection as you really won't notice any difference in use. You'll need to do speed tests to know if it's working!
