iPhone hotspot - IPv4

Am I right in thinking that the hotspot uses IPv6? Is it possible to change this to 4? Trying to connect my car system to WiFi but it requires 4

Ended up resetting the WLAN on the car and it seems to have sorted it

What iPhone do you have? Try enabling 'maximise compatibility' to make it use 2.4Ghz, rather the 5Ghz.

It’s an iPhone 13, IOS 16.3.1

yeah - have tried maximise compatibility but that didn’t work!

No - I’m in England. Trying to get a VW Golf to connect to my hotspot!

that’s interesting if they don’t use IPv6 here. That was my last hope for finding the solution!
