changing password

I have a superhub 2 and an iMac and I want to change the password. The mac is in a different room and floor to the hub. The guide advises connecting with an ethernet cable while doing the change, can I make the change without having to move the mac to allow this or is it best not to be lazy and move it?

Re: changing password

You can connect over wifi and do it just as easily.

Or buy a 30-50m run of Cat5e ethernet cable (<£10) and connect the iMac temporarily with that - just trailing the cable on the floor. When its done, roll it up and put it in your "bits drawer" - always useful to have 🙂
