I live in a 1-bed flat and have an M200 VM package. The wifi only works properly in the living room where the router is, yet in the bedroom (same floor, literally the room next door to the living room) has a terrible connection - so much so that my phone often connects to 5G data instead it’s that bad.
I’ve tried positioning the router in a different, more open location, but this hasn’t helped at all. So why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Hi Burbs,
Thanks for using the forums to get this issue with your WIFI looked into, I am sorry if this has been causing some frustration. I would be more than happy to look into this for you.
I would firstly like to ask if @jbrennand's advice has helped at all? His advice in his post may help with your particular issue, especially what he says about splitting SSID's and WIFI Max.
If you could download our Connect App and do a home scan, this will let you know if there are any WIFI issues and how to fix them, let me know what you find out after doing this.
I also have two other helpful links here which may be helpful due to your issue being mainly over WIFI - WIFI SOS & WIFI Connection Issues.
Are there any devices like PC's, consoles or set top boxes that could be connected to the internet via an ethernet cable? This may help to relieve usage on the WIFI bands if you have a lot of devices connected all at once. Plus, these big devices are large internet users, so ethernet would be quicker and more reliable using the wired method 🙂
Thanks,
Megan_L

Thanks for your help. I hadn't realised that the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz connections had to be configured separately. Once I separated them and connected my devices to 5Ghz, it's started working properly.
