WiFi Boosters

I've got some Virgin WiFi Boosters turning up today to improve the signal across the house, and they say you should 'use the Ethernet cable provided' when setting this up.

Is it a necessity to use the cable they give you, or can I use one I've already got which matches the specifications? The cable is too short and I need it a bit longer to be able to reach a plug socket.

Thanks

Re: WiFi Boosters

Hello

Any Ethernet cable as long as it is Cat 5e or better will do the job.
