Virgin hub 3 red light constant

I have Internet but the light is constantly red and not white.  I think I need a new hub based on your previous responses.

I am very sorry to hear you are experiencing a red light issue with your Hub 3.

Has the Hub been rebooted since this issue started? 

Is the Hub hot to touch or making a louder than normal fan noise?

Also, is the equipment in an open/well ventilated space?
