I am having major issues with the VM cache
I have moved a website https://www.johnnycassell.com to a new IP - I have now waited 2 days and still the cache is not clearing
This is what I am getting from my local machine....
C:\Users\user>nslookup www.johnnycassell.comServer: cache1.service.virginmedia.netAddress: 184.108.40.206
Non-authoritative answer:Name: johnnycassell.comAddress: 220.127.116.11 (this is the OLD IP)Aliases: www.johnnycassell.com
For some reason I am getting similar with EE mobile with cache not updating which has made the whole situation even more confusing!
However when I change the DNS to Google DNS the website does seem to resolve without issue (I have other people check around the UK who have said it is fine for them since the switch)
C:\Users\user>nslookup www.johnnycassell.comServer: dns.googleAddress: 18.104.22.168
Non-authoritative answer:Name: johnnycassell.comAddress: 22.214.171.124 (correct new IP)Aliases: www.johnnycassell.com
Does anyone have more knowledge on this? or when the VM cache is likely to update?
I have tried resetting the router multiple times to get a new IP but nothing seems to work?

Thanks for your reply - isnt that a lot longer than other ISP's though as other people have had no problem at all accessing since the switch?

Thanks Tim some good points there!
It has finally now come through via 3G phone cache
I think what really threw me was that usually even when caching issue on wi-fi, I usually get the right result via 4G or vice versa!!
