Good afternoon all.
I want to bring to the attention of Virgin Media ASAP that there is an issue with the core network configuration.
It has been brought to my attention by a member of the Thinkbroadband forum that the "BGP is incorrectly configured and rather than going via Liberty Global /Aorta some traffic is going via LINX direct to VMO2"
This poses an issue since there is a lack of capacity through this routing.

This is causing issues with the core network within the last few days.
Please refer to the article attached.
MY BMQ's for reference
Kind Regards

Yes, exactly the same - some packet loss at 12.15 today, as well as the nightly 8-10pm bonanza:

Same here although I will mention it was the same on one of my international connections with SFR attached below
It didn't affect one of the Virgin Media leased lines i monitor though
edit
I forgot to mention that the SFR line (the bottom one) is Coax hybrid fibre, the BMQ still looks better even though its in another country.
Its 500Mbps down 50UP
Quite slow compared to what i had before overthere (FTTP 940Mbps down 300UP)

Check this out. Think I have one of the worst ones.
And what's an even bigger kick in the teeth is I can't even switch to another provider, the only fibre I can get is VM.
Got an engineer coming tomorrow morning, I have a strong feeling I will be told 'all good' when in fact it won't be 'all good'.
