My old Superhub 3 which was rock solid overheated this year, it still worked ok but had a persistent red light.
Moving on i got sent a Superhub 5, all seemed to work ok but its always done this odd thing of me having to reboot my PC to get it to connect to the internet when i first switch my PC on, i should add its never lost connection when i'm using my PC, but it drops the connection fairly often when the PC goes to sleep and i come back to it.
I have rebooted and reset the router till i'm blue in the face, thought it might be the PC's onboard network adapter so I bought another, same thing, changed the network cable, no joy, formatted the PC a few times no luck.
One thing i did was fit a USB wireless network adapter and when switching on first time that works fine and connects to the Internet, but no hard wired connection until i reboot.
I should add sometimes it drops off when the PC sleeps and i have messed around with all the sleep\hibernate settings and its made no difference, i should add the wi-fi works all the time for our mobile phones and my landline, connected to the Superhub, is also unaffected.
As the Superhub 3 worked perfectly i can only assume there's something amiss with the Superhub 5, but what it is i don't know, but all this rebooting is getting really annoying. I should add my router is high up and well away from any other electrical appliances.

Hello BKZ2457.
Thanks for your post and welcome back to our community.
Sorry to hear about the connection issue with your PC.
Does this happen with any other devices?
Have you tried a pinhole reset on the Hub?

Thank you for the reply, tried all that, but spent an hour or two this weekend and found the problem.
Turned out its a network connection to my Firestick thats causing the problem, the little gadget 8 weeks old so never really considered this as a possible culprit. Basically its the Amazon Network Adapter for Fire TV and since unplugging that from the router, no problems. All it does supposedly is give the firestick a much more stable connection.
Its odd because it was obviously ok for the first few weeks as i had no problems, but i did notice the disconnections etc were getting more frequent, but of course being new i never considered it, again thanks for the reply.
