Power booster installed now i have slow speeds

I found a few days a go that my downstream power levels were too low and all over the place, so i had an engineer come in to install a power booster (not be confused with wifi booster). I found that this fixed most problems that i was having, unstable connection, Internet drop outs.

Unfortunately I've noticed that my download speeds have massively been downgraded, i get a lot of buffering and slower loading times. I've been doing tests for the past 3 days at different times. I currently own the 600mbs package, but can only manage to get around 150-200mbs downloads speeds compared to the 550mbs that i was having before.

Any ideas what could be issue? Thanks!

Re: Power booster installed now i have slow speeds

Can you post your Hub status and logs?
Someone should be spot if there is a problem
Navigate to http://192.168.0.1 (or http://192.168.100.1 - if in modem mode)
Don't log in!
Click on 'router status'
Copy/paste the data from each of the tabs. The forum software will remove the MAC addresses for you (you may need to click the 'post' button again).

Also, set up a 'Broadband Quality Monitor'. This will monitor the state of your connection and record any network dropouts etc - You can do this at ThinkBroadband (https://www.thinkbroadband.com/broadband/monitoring/quality)
Give it a while to gather data and then click 'Share Live graph' and paste the 'Direct Link' into the forum!
