Pay for a line to be installed

Have a Virgin Media fibre box at the top of our road, 30m away, but VM are not planning on running the line down or road,  can we pay them to do this?

Re: Pay for a line to be installed

If you pay the costs - yes. It will likely run into 10's if not 100's of thousand pounds. Which is probably why VM chose not to do it, calculating that they would nott get a return on their investment. But see what VM say when they pick this up.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired 2 WiFi,) SH2 in modem mode with Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On VIVID200, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

open reach have to give a price its part of the government rules. open reach must install to every house in the UK. VM are a private company and not bound by the same rules
