Internet keeps disconnecting RCS Partial Service

I am using the internet on my Xbox with friends when It randomly kicks me off for like 10-15 seconds. I logged on to the router and kept seeing "RCS Partial Service" Alerts popping up when I get kicked. I got some broadband graphs over the past days when it disconnects. It mainly does it when im playing. If anyone could help me it would be well appreciated.

Not sure what the red blocks are either, I wasn't here at that time

I use a 3 Hub. If you need any other things to help me fix this let me know

Re: Internet keeps disconnecting RCS Partial Service

The good news is this looks like it can be fixed.

Can you connect to the hub by clicking on this link http://192.168.0.1/  That should pull up the log in page for the hub.  But don't log in, just click on the link "Check router status"  That'll bring up a window with five tabs.  All we need is the contents of the three titled Downstream, Upstream, Network log, and you'll need to select, copy and paste as text (screenshots won't cut it).  You'll get an error message when you post the Network log, just click on "post" a second time.

Re: Internet keeps disconnecting RCS Partial Service

Several of your Downstream Power Levels are too low.

This will need an engineer to put right.

You can either call in (08:00 is the best time) or wait on here for a few days (6 to 10 days average) until one of the VM Forum Staff comes along.

If you wait on here Do Not bump the thread it will put it further down the VM 'to do list'.

Re: Internet keeps disconnecting RCS Partial Service

Your Pre & Post RS Error counts are very high.

In an ideal world they would be at zero and stay there. To zero them can you reboot the Hub using this method and then keep an eye on the counts.

Switch the Hub off using the small switch on the rear of the Hub next to the power cord and pull the PSU plug from the wall socket.

Give it a good 5 minutes put the plug back in and switch the Hub back on.

Allow the Hub a few minutes to fully restart then check the counts again in an hour or so.

Re: Internet keeps disconnecting RCS Partial Service

@wcowley Your BQM images have been rejected as they contain your WAN IP address and this is against the forum rules, to protect your privacy.  If you use the share options on the BQM page you can add a link or embed an image of your graph without your IP address.

Your connection looks very unhealthy to me and unless there is a current area fault in your area then you will need a technician visit to sort it out.

Also, after resetting my router, Most of the downstream errors are going to zero, Not sure what this means and If I still need a technician round.

A reset (as the name suggests) will reset everything including the error counters, but the Post RS counters should not be as high as yours shortly after a reset.  Unless there is a current area fault in your area then you will need a technician visit to sort it out.

I have escalated this thread with the mods so hopefully one of the forum team will post on here soon and be able to run checks on your line.
