Intermittent Connection Issues

Hi

I've been experiencing intermittent connection to my wifi for the past few weeks.  I did speak to a member of Virgin's technical support team who managed to get my connection working - however it's dropping out several times a day now.  I obviously can't spend every moment that it decides not to work on the phone trying to sort it out (and also there's the issue that it's intermittent and will reconnect).  Is this a widespread issue?  Is there something else that I need to do?  Do I need new equipment?  HELP! Smiley Happy

Re: Intermittent Connection Issues

Would need to check the signal levels if could go to http://192.168.0.1 or if using modem mode http://192.168.100.1 clicking router status top right or bottom of page depending on hub [no need to login - depending on hub] and if could copy/paste the downstream, upstream, network log, don't worry about the formatting we can easily read it.. try and avoid using screen shots..

P.S.  I think I've accidentally marked this as solved - but it isn't

Re: Intermittent Connection Issues

Hi MRSATKINS

Welcome to our community forum pages and thank you for posting.

We are sorry to hear that you have been experiencing ongoing issues with your WiFi service.

Do you use any WiFi boosters at all?

Do you have any issues when using devices over a wired connection?

Re: Intermittent Connection Issues

Hi David

Thanks for your reply.  I don't use a booster and don't think that I need one in all honesty - this wasn't an issue initially and nothing has changed with regards to the placement of any of my equipment.  I'd been asked for downstream, upstream and the network log - I did reply to that message however it appears that it didn't send because it exceeded your maximum amount of characters - I'll try and do this in a couple messages and hopefully you'll make sense of it all Smiley Happy
