Re: Hub 4 red light

Pretty sure Red is lack of WIFI as had it comes back online after it went of and sometimes Red which gets me Ethernet but no WIFI.

Takes reboot to fix.

Re: Hub 4 red light

A VM engineer called me yesterday (you can read my new thread for reason if you like).

I never got a straight answer out of him about the Red Light on HUB4 (is it indicating WIFI not working after network boot requiring a 2nd manual reboot or Overheating).

He only replied "they run hot" which I already know by heat coming out top of it and having never heard the fan.

Re: Hub 4 red light

Unless VM can provide anything useful, you might want to look at this.  In particular page 24.

UPC is Liberty Global's Swiss operation, and it therefore seems reasonable to assume that the Giga Connect Box and the Hub 4 are identical until proven otherwise.  You'll see from menu screenshots that this all looks very familiar.

Re: Hub 4 red light

Solid red CM registration failed (rainging/physical reasons) = What I get after a Network reboot sometimes.

Flashing purple Hardware (thermal or fan error) = Never seen this so far.

Flashing blue (slow flash, once every three seconds)

Solid blue WPS success. Changes to solid white after 20 seconds

Can confirm Both Blue states as WPS (during my printer set up)
