Re: Hub 4.0 No Modem Mode Option Available?

Aye! 🙂

(I'd still try a factory reset though - As looking at the link I posted; it implies that modem mode should be available!)

I'd hate to think this is a portent to Liberty Global removing modem mode.....  However as stated there is an implication of Modem mode in the "Lights"s explanation of the Irish V2 (Hub 4) Routers.

@GameOverGary  Please let us know if you get this resolved by VM IE, or if you find the elusive modem mode switch !

Probably just crap firmware... 😉

Ha, never! 🙂

Just off a live chat session the Ireland support and they have requested the IPV settings be changed on the Modem. I need to reset in an hour and it should be updated. I will report back once done.

I can't imagine VM would ever be so stupid as to remove modem mode.  If they did I'd be first out the door.

Interesting.  From memory VM IE use CGNAT as part of the IPv6 strategy.  I'm wondering if this change is the "retrograde" step to set some users Hub's back to IPv4 only?  Or of course, I could just be overthinking things 😉
