Broadband issues

Hi.

I am having alot of problems with my broadband. I have WiFi boosters upstairs and down. I am getting 200mb and still I keep having to turn wifi off on some things and use my mobile hotspot.

Welcome to our community forums and thank you for your first posts.

 

Sorry to hear you are having issue with your Broadband service.

 

Just to confirm have you checked our service status page to see if there are any known issues in the area affecting your service?  virg.in/service . Have you also tried rebooting your Hub to see if the issue persists? Also how many devices are connected by Wi-Fi? Does the issue still persist if you reduce the number of devices connected?

Get some better wireless equipment that isn't a booster or powerline plug.

Look into a mesh system

That's just too much money. Tbh I'm paying for WiFi I'm not getting. Whats the number for virgon media

You're not paying for wifi though.. please read your contracts people!

Virgin only guarantee speeds and connectivity for wired devices, not wireless.
