2g constantly disconnecting on Superhub2

I keep losing 2G connection on my WiFi requiring frequent reboots of my Superhub 2 which fixes the problem for a short time. I use mostly IOS devices to connect to this wireless network. I recently bought a WiFi booster and have noticed that when choosing a network for this that my 2G seems to change its password setting from WPA2 to WEP. Could this be a reason for the lost connections as my Hub is definitely set up for a WPA2 password! Any assistance would be gratefully received.

The SH2 changing it's encryption to WEP is a known problem that can develop with the SH2s

You could try doing a Factory Reset on the Hub, bearing in mind you will need to set up the SH2 with the default credentials printed on the Hub.

If that doesn't cure the problem, VM will swap out the SH2 for a new Hub 3

Yep - its a known fault that the SH2 can develop as it ages.
Two options. (1) call it in as a fault and get VM to send you a free Hub3 replacement. (2) As I have done, put it in modem mode and get your own wireless router with better features and performance.

Thanks for replying so promptly. I have already done a factory reset and the problem has continued so I guess it's a new Hub or Router. I will see if any of the Virgin team get in contact. Thanks again.

Calling it in ought to be quicker. Just clearly explain that it is the known fault on the SH2 wifi and if you get a good agent they should just send one out to you straight away
