I'm terribly sorry to hear that downloading content from the TV Go application to your iPad has not been possible.
What happens when you try to download from the TV Go application to the iPad?
Have you attempted this over multiple devices?
Can you please confirm if you have access to the Virgin Media TV Control application to see if this feature is available to you?

Are you sure the iPad is connected to your VM WiFi?
