Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

I have the same problem. Tried restarting, turning voicemail alert off and then on again, leaving another voicemail then deleting it but the voicemail icon is still there. Didn't have this problem until I received a new Virgin SIM card a couple of weeks ago.

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

I dont understand, why theres no any online chat or something to help people? Why it allways takes ages to solve the problem? I still got this icon on my screen. Its there for 6 weeks now. What I have to do? change the operator?

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

The Virgin tech team sorted it for me.  It seems to be OK now and I don't have the issue - not sure what happened or why but they were quick to sort it out.

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

Is there a problem with Ghost Voicemail notifications now? I'm with Virgin and I can't get rid of the voicemail notification. Please see attached. Virgin suggest leaving myself a VM and deleting this new VM to clear it. Doesn't work. They also suggested deleting the phone icon' s data cache. Doesn't work.

Please help.

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

I have started having the same problem for a few days. If a reset is required by a virgin tech can you please do that for me. I’ve tried all the obvious things (rebooting, sending another voice message and deleting) but no joy with that.

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

Hi

The voicemail Icon has come back again!  Very annoying.  Restarted the handset several times.  Tried leaving another message and listening and deleting but to no avail.

Can you please reset again for me?  I know others are having the same issue as I see the messages on the forum here.

thanks

Helen

Re: Voicemail Icon on screen

Hi

I am suddenly having same issue.

I am using iPhone 7 on latest iOS

I have tried changing my profile/voicemail settings. Leaving new message then deleting. Dialling 222. Restarting phone.

Resetting phone.

Still shows 1 VM and keeps sending me alerts that there is s VM.
