PAC code x 2

I have requested pac codes for my 2 numbers but I only got one sent through. How do I get 2 pac codes please? It appears this is a regular problem

Re: PAC code x 2

Wait your turn...:)

I moved from Three to Virgin on 12th January- gave them my pac code-
Virgin order acknowledgement said it would move on 17th January.
After phoning 789 I was told it was to be 25th January.
After phoning 789 I was told it was to be 28th January..
Ive now been messaged to say my service is discontinued due to an 'unpaid bill' of £10+ - which is strange as I havent used the service yet- my on line usage shows phone calls to 789 only- and Im on direct debit payment anyway.
And they STILL havent ported my number over as of today the 29th- three attempts to ring 789 have cost me 20 mins of incessant music then being cut off.

Three have now closed my account so I cant even go back to them and retrieve my existing phone number

Oh by the way- they told me that porting doesnt happen over the weekend

Re: PAC code x 2

Porting happens up to 5pm on Monday to Fridays.

Requests before 5pm on Friday should port Monday. After 5pm and Saturday and Sunday should port the following Tuesday

That is the standard, but Virgin have had problems for a long time. Even when the port goes through it is often partial.

I've ported a number from 1p mobile to Giffgaff on Thursday lunchtime. The port completed Friday around 2pm

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with getting you PAC code.

On the back of what enlli has said, could you please advise when your requested your PAC code?

Kind regards,

Re: PAC code x 2

I was given 1 PAC for 2 numbers, the one PAC worked for both.

Re: PAC code x 2

Hi,

I am in the same boat. I have 2 numbers and received only one PAC.

Other Networks have stated one PAC for one Phone Number?

Q. If I only transfer one phone number with the PAC (and not transfer the 2nd phone number), what happens after the 30 days? If I change my mind for one of the numbers?

Thanks.

Don.

Re: PAC code x 2

Hi dkhc,

Thanks for your post and welcome to the community.

You should be able to request a PAC for each number, have you tried to re-request another?

Thanks,

Kain
