I used to live at my mum and dad's house and used my email to access to their Virgin Media account.
I have since moved to my own house and have had Virgin installed.
I used the new account number and area reference to set up the account, but it tells me that it is a secondary account and therefore I can't make changes online, even though it is a completely different address to the one where I was before.
When I log in to My Virgin Media, I get the message "This is a secondary account". When I click on My Bills at the top of the page, it says "You don't have access to billing information. Only the main account holder can view billing info."
Below "This is a secondary account" is a link "Find out more>". When I click the link it takes me to a page headed "How do I sign up to eBilling with Virgin Media?". This says :- "Click on My Profile at the top of the page Scroll down to the eBilling section and click Switch to eBilling".
When I click on My Profile in My Virgin Media, there is no eBilling section.
How do I become the main account holder (there is no other account holder and never has been) ?
