Re: Looking to downgrade package to just TV

I don't need the Tivo box anymore, I have satellite and Amamazon Prime. Trying to talk to anybody at Virgin is a real pain in the butt. I was thinking of switching to BT but after speaking  to their rep. he said "Stick with Virgin, it'll be years before we have cable". So fi anybody is seeing this, how the hell do I downgrade?

Package changes and service adds/removes can't be done via this forum.

OK, I've had enough now. I managed to get the V6 removed from my package and upgraded the speed. I was told I would now be paying £45.00 per month for the next 18 months, great. Then I get an email saying I will be paying £79.50. Then on the Virgin site, it says I owe them over £100. Then I couldn't log in to my main email address which I have had for 24 years. Managed to finally get to somebody I could understand and we changed the password. So now I can log in but have not had any emails since the 7th of October, but getting spam. Today the internet kept going down but because I can't log in I can't check for faults. I've had enough and will cancel everything. I had seven email addresses but can't log in to three of them on the Virgin site but I can on Thunderbird. It's totally gone downhill since the NTLWORLD days. I filled in everything on the site and told them this and they said I would get a phone call. Guess what, no phone call. I don't know if they have sent me an email because as I have said, I am not receiving any emails. What a joke. If it costs me money to dump the lot, then so be it.

0800 5610061 is a free automated call, and is often the most reliable source for local, postcode-level service info.
