I have exactly the same issue wants a pin for an ntl account I never used my ebilling goes to an ???@virgin.net address spent twodays talking to people and bots about this and an it ticket was raised yesterday and I was supposed to have the pin send to me today but nothing and then told I have to wait another 24 hours to hear back from IT support so it is easier to just move to plusnet. I even asked them to be put through to cancellation team and they couldn't even do that properly.
