Hi all,
I can’t seem to find any info on this anywhere so I don’t know if it’s an error (I’ll try calling tomorrow if so), however I moved home back in September and brought my Virgin broadband services with me. I’ve just looked back at the documents (sorting through all my paperwork) and whilst the contract I received for my last place states that if I leave before the 6th March 2023, I might have to pay early disconnection, the same contract I was sent again after the move (same account, never stopped using the services) states that this is now the 29th March 2024??
This will also mean my payments will essentially double in March as I was using a special deal - effectively if I hadn’t moved house I could cancel in March and not have to pay the higher price (which I would struggle with at the moment) but because I moved house the 18 month contract seems to have started again?
I’ve double checked the newer document and it still says that my payments will go up on the 7th March this year.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi lilibet16,
Thank you for your post. I'm very sorry to hear about the the new contract term showing.
When you move properties were there any changes to your services at all?

Hi Martin,
No, there were no changes at all, just my same broadband as before. I am still using the same kit as I had in my old place and haven’t added anything.
Thanks

Thank you for that. I will need to take a look at the account now to see what has happened.
I will private message you now to confirm your details.
