I initially tried to sign up to a Virgin broadband/tv account via a third party (Broadband Genie) who were offering a £80 Amazon voucher if purchased via their site.
After ringing Virgin for additional support on my order, I was told if I signed up via them directly I would get the package for £28.99, and that I could get £80 in credit to apply to my first few monthly bills.
After signing up, and receiving my first bill estimate and contract, the monthly price had increased to £29.99, and there was no sign of the £80 credit on my account.
I rang the contact centre who told me there was no sign of the credit on my account. And was passed onto another department. After 1.5 hrs spent on hold I was disconnected and told they were too busy to take any calls.
