Issue with Quidco Cashback and poor VM CS Response

Morning, took out VM Vivid 100 deal via Quidco last year which was for £144 cashback and have enjoyed VM and paid monthly via DD so account is in good standing

However Quico status currently has stalled from Sep 2018 at Sent to retailer (see below)

Obviously I'm concerned that my 12 month contract will be up and no cashback will be made with no reason given

After hitting a brick wall with Quidco, I contacted VM via the complaints form, I received a phone call a few days later in which the VM CS indicated that Quidco where "liars" and that VM don't pay out cashback and that the CS personally had never heard of Quidco

In the end after 10 mins of the same runaround, I hung the phone up

I've had no further contact from VM to resolve my issue

When I then contacted Quidco they state that they are still waiting on VM updating the claim at their end to indicate all is well so Quidco can generate the cashback

Quidco is the company your getting cashback from, it's up to them to chase virgin not yourself.

 

It's a waste of time you speaking to virgin

Did you get a reason why?

That's my main issue Quidco have asked VM if I've conformed to the T&C's and 9 months later they still haven't replied

So I'm limbo

Hi there, there are a few issues at play here, the VM CS has acted poorly (denying VM even deal with Quidco and calling them liars) and left me a paying customer in limbo by failing to update my situation

Virginmedia are in partnership with Quidco to entice people to enter into a contract, in my case the cashback was the difference between me joining Sky or BT

I've adhered to the T&C's and don't even have the courtesy of an update to my claim 9 months into a 12 month contract

As you can see by the status I listed on post 1 (and confirmed by Quidco CS), Quidco are waiting on VM updating my claim, so I find your comments on behalf of VM quite disingenuous by blaming Quidco

Which dept at VM processes the Quidco cashback incentive program?

The Quidco department of Quidco. They are the ones who made the offer and the ones who you need to be chasing for your offer. You do not chase VM.

 

The longer you distract yourself with VM here, the longer you go without. Just keep pushing at Quidco to process it.
