Incorrect outstanding payments

I recently received a letter through the post claiming that I have outstanding payments. After checking my bank balances I can see that I have successfully made all payments since the contract began and I'm worried about incurring late charges or, having my services frozen completely. 

I realise that with Covid happening that there's no call centres to contact but I'm really worried as money is tight and I have no options to pay the outstanding costs plus any late charges. 

Any advice would be gratefully received.

It could be a scam.
What does the letter ask you to do?

Unfortunately not, my virgin account also says I have an outstanding payment

Can you specifically reconcile the alleged outstanding payment with a payment that VM have actually taken?

Yes. It claims that my payment for April did not go through but my bank statement shows that payments came out at the beginning of April and May as usual.

I have been able to locate your account and can see that you have spoken to the team this morning and they have advised you what to do. Are you happy with what has been advised?
